Remote Occupational Therapist in NM

An occupational therapy position is available to provide support for a small caseload of elementary-aged students requiring telehealth or in-school services. This contract role is based in Sanostee, NM, with opportunities for virtual therapy sessions considered.

Responsibilities include delivering focused occupational therapy interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of two 7-year-old students. Direct service time is approximately 30 minutes per week per student, with total weekly hours ranging from 1 to 2, including indirect time for documentation and collaboration. The contract term runs from August 3 through May 19.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid occupational therapy licensure
• Experience providing school-based occupational therapy services
• Skilled in telehealth delivery as well as in-person school settings
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Strong communication and reporting skills to collaborate with educational staff and families

Location:

• Based in Sanostee, NM, with services provided in Shiprock, NM
• Virtual/Ot telehealth candidates will be considered
