1:1 Pediatric Remote Physical Therapy - North Carolina
Providing specialized physical therapy services in a remote school setting, this role supports a student requiring full-time mobility assistance. The focus lies on delivering 1:1 telehealth therapy centered around mobility, positioning, and access for a student using a wheelchair. Services are delivered entirely through teletherapy, ensuring flexibility and convenience in schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy services via telehealth to one pediatric student
- Support students mobility, positioning, and access needs in a school year setting
- Collaborate with educational staff through clear communication to optimize therapy outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet students evolving needs remotely
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Physical Therapy license issued by the state of North Carolina
- Experience providing pediatric physical therapy in a school or telehealth environment preferred
- Strong understanding of mobility support and wheelchair positioning techniques
- Ability to manage a flexible scheduling arrangement and maintain consistent communication
