Remote School Registered Nurse | Illinois

A contracted Registered Nurse (RN) with telehealth experience and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credentials is sought for a school setting in Aurora, IL. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care and health education to the student population while utilizing telehealth technology to support remote health consultations and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and health services to students, addressing physical and mental health needs.
• Conduct health screenings, immunization compliance checks, and manage health records in accordance with school policies.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to perform virtual health assessments, triage symptoms, and offer guidance to students and staff.
• Collaborate with school personnel and families to coordinate individualized care plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Provide health education and promote wellness initiatives within the school community.
• Respond to medical emergencies and implement appropriate interventions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with local and state health regulations and school district policies.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Illinois.
• Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) is required.
• Experience with telehealth technologies and virtual patient management.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both in person and via digital platforms.
