Health ESY Online School Nurse in MA

A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN) with experience in telehealth services to support Extended School Year (ESY) programs. This role is based in Brookline, MA, within a school setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive nursing care and health services to students through telehealth platforms.
• Managing health plans and emergency protocols tailored to individual student needs.
• Monitoring and documenting student health status, maintaining accurate medical records.
• Collaborating with educational and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Ensuring compliance with health regulations and school policies during ESY sessions.
• Providing health education and support to students, families, and staff.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential.
• Proven experience in school nursing, especially within telehealth services.
• Knowledge of health issues common to children and adolescents in educational settings.
• Familiarity with ESY program requirements and health management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a contractual capacity.
• Ability to respond effectively to health emergencies and adapt to diverse student needs.
