ESY Health Virtual School RN - MA

A healthcare professional is needed to provide telehealth nursing services within an educational setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive nursing care and support for students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The ideal candidate will hold certifications as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified School Nurse (CSN), with experience in school health environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver telehealth nursing assessments and interventions to students in alignment with individual health plans.
• Manage care coordination, medication administration, and health screenings during ESY sessions.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records compliant with regulatory standards.
• Provide health education and emergency response assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) strongly preferred.
• Experience with telehealth nursing practices within schools or similar settings.
• Familiarity with Extended School Year (ESY) programs and their unique healthcare requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of pediatric healthcare protocols and school health regulations.
