Remote School Psychologist | Maryland
A part-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services, focusing on early childhood assessment and support. The role involves working within a child find program dedicated to identifying and addressing developmental and psychological needs in children aged 3 to 5 years. This contract position offers approximately 10 hours per week during the 26/27 school year in the Bowie, MD area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth assessments and evaluations for young children in the child find program
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to develop individualized support plans
- Utilize evidence-based practices to identify developmental delays or behavioral concerns
- Provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations tailored to individual needs
- Document findings thoroughly and maintain confidentiality in compliance with regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid credentialing as a School Psychologist
- Proficiency in delivering psychological services via telehealth platforms
- Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly ages 3-5
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills within a school or clinical setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with child find protocols and procedures
