Online School Psychologist in RI

A contract position is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services to support students remotely in the East Providence, RI area. This role emphasizes delivering psychological assessments, consultations, and interventions via telehealth platforms to address student needs effectively.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting virtual psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
• Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
• Providing counseling and crisis intervention through telehealth modalities.
• Documenting assessment results, recommendations, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing psychological insights remotely.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience with telehealth delivery of psychological services within a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students, families, and staff remotely.
• Proficiency with teleconferencing technology and secure data handling practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload.
