Online School Psychologist in VA
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development through telehealth and direct services. This role serves schools in the Gloucester area and operates on a Monday through Friday school-day schedule, with options for an immediate start or the 20262027 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
- Interpret results and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
- Participate in eligibility, Individualized Education Program (IEP), and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
- Consult on academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions.
- Support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives through data-driven decisions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Promote positive learning environments conducive to student success.
Qualifications:
- Masters, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Active Virginia School Psychologist license or certification, or eligibility to obtain one before the start date.
- Strong communication, assessment, and consultation abilities.
- Effective collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous school-based experience preferred; qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
