A contract opportunity is available for a licensed school psychologist to provide on-site telehealth services within a special education setting. The assignment begins August 5, 2026, and concludes June 4, 2027. The position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
This role is based in Moncks Corner, SC, within a school setting under the Berkeley County School district. The specific school location will be determined. Candidates must hold a valid South Carolina School Psychologist license to qualify.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering psychological services and assessments tailored to support students' educational and emotional needs.
- Collaborating with special education teachers and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilizing telehealth platforms effectively while maintaining on-site presence to provide comprehensive support.
- Monitoring student progress and contributing to behavioral intervention strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with district policies and state regulations regarding psychological services in schools.
Preferred qualifications:
- South Carolina school psychologist licensure.
- Experience working within special education environments and familiarity with telehealth modalities in an educational context.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
