Teletherapy School Psychologist in TN
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist providing telehealth services. This role involves supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs through virtual assessment, consultation, and intervention within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective strategies
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention via telehealth platforms
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Maintaining detailed documentation and adhering to confidentiality and legal guidelines
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A valid School Psychologist certification or license appropriate for the state
- Experience delivering psychological services in an educational environment, preferably through telehealth
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and special education regulations
- Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration with students, families, and school professionals
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively within a remote setting
