Virtual School Psychologist | Maryland
A specialized opportunity is available for a School Psychologist experienced in telehealth to support early childhood development programs. This part-time contract role focuses on delivering psychological services through virtual platforms to children aged 3 to 5 within a child find program during the 2026/2027 school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for young children to identify developmental, emotional, or learning needs.
- Collaborating with families and educational professionals to develop individualized support plans.
- Utilizing telehealth technology to deliver services effectively and maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and complying with all relevant privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
- Participating in child find initiatives aimed at early identification and intervention.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- State licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Proven experience working with early childhood populations, particularly ages 3-5.
- Familiarity and proficiency with telehealth service delivery.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage part-time schedules and meet contractual obligations reliably.
