A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide telehealth services at a school in Dora, AL. The assignment entails supporting a 14-year-old student, delivering clear and effective communication through sign language interpretation.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating communication between the student and educational staff during telehealth sessions
• Ensuring accurate and expressive interpretation of spoken and signed language to promote understanding
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Collaborating with educators to support the student's learning needs

Desired qualifications:

• Proven experience as a sign language interpreter, preferably in school or telehealth settings
• Strong knowledge of ASL and interpreting techniques
• Ability to work 30 hours weekly, with availability starting ASAP through May 21st
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
