Online Sign Language Interpreter - SC

A full-time, virtual position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter specializing in 1:1 pediatric services via telehealth. This role supports educational settings and requires expertise in American Sign Language interpretation for students requiring individualized attention.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 Sign Language Interpretation services for pediatric students in a telehealth environment
• Facilitating communication between students, educators, and families to support learning and engagement
• Adapting interpretation methods to meet the specific needs of each student
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Collaborating with the educational team virtually to ensure effective communication access

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience interpreting for pediatric clients
• Prior experience in educational or telehealth settings preferred
• Ability to deliver clear and accurate interpretation in virtual formats
• Strong communication skills and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences
• Commitment to supporting student success through effective communication
