Remote High School Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in NY
Providing speech-language pathology services remotely, this role focuses on teletherapy for middle and high school students. The position is part-time, requiring three days per week (21 hours), with some flexibility to arrange the schedule during the interview process. Service delivery is conducted via telespeech platforms, supporting students in a single building setting from September 8, 2026, through June 24, 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech-language assessments and therapy sessions remotely for middle and high school students.
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintaining detailed records and progress notes in compliance with educational regulations.
- Utilizing teletherapy techniques to engage and support students effectively.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings.
- Proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy service delivery.
- Experience working with middle and high school populations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with academic teams.
