Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - NM
A Speech Language Pathologist with full New Mexico licensure is needed for a full-time contract role serving PreK through 3rd-grade students. This position will begin on August 12, 2026, and continue for the entire school year in Bernalillo, NM.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 40-50 students in PreK to 3rd grade
- Deliver therapy through both in-person and teletherapy methods, including telespeech consultations
- Collaborate with educators and families to support communication development
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to meet program and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Full licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of New Mexico is required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience working with early childhood populations (PreK-3rd grade)
- Proficient in delivering teletherapy and in-person speech services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively
