Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - MD
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to deliver school-based services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Maryland. This position offers the opportunity to support children with diverse speech, language, and communication needs, enabling them to achieve their educational and social objectives.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Conducting thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Providing direct therapy sessions as well as consultative support
- Collaborating effectively with classroom teachers, families, and IEP teams to promote student progress
Ideal candidates will possess an active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license and hold or be eligible for certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). While school or pediatric experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
This role offers full-time or part-time schedules with on-site service delivery in a K-12 school environment located in Bowie, MD. Candidates should be prepared to manage a diverse caseload and adapt their services to meet the needs of students across various grade levels.
