Remote Speech Language Pathologist in MD
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within a public school setting in Cambridge, MD. This contract position involves delivering speech therapy services primarily at two educational facilities: a high school and a career & technology center, with an additional day at an elementary school each week.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and providing speech-language intervention tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators and staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the educational curriculum
- Maintaining detailed records and progress reports for each student served
- Utilizing telepractice methods when appropriate to maximize student access to services
Required qualifications:
- Current and active Maryland SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with a range of age groups from elementary through high school
- Proficiency in telespeech service delivery is strongly desired
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining compliance with school district policies
Position details:
- Contract duration from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027
- Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week
- Service locations include Cambridge-South Dorchester High School, Dorchester Career & Technology Center, and Maple Elementary School
