Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in MI
A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services to support school-aged children. This role requires delivering high-quality speech therapy interventions via telehealth platforms, addressing a variety of communication disorders within the student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments remotely, identifying communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Utilize telepractice technologies effectively to provide engaging and productive sessions.
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Demonstrated experience in providing telepractice speech therapy services.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students in a virtual setting.
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP.
