Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Work From Home | Alabama
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based telespeech services, located in Greenville, AL. This role involves providing therapeutic support to students in grades 3 through 5, within elementary and middle school settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language pathology services via telepractice to students aged 8-11,
- Managing a caseload of approximately 35 students,
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs),
- Monitoring and documenting student progress,
- Adhering to state and federal guidelines related to special education and speech therapy.
Qualifications sought for this position:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist,
- Experience with telespeech services in a school environment,
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children aged 8 to 11,
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain detailed records,
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, educators, and families.
The contract schedule offers 35 hours per week, commencing as soon as possible and continuing through May 21, 2027. The work will be based primarily at Greenville Elementary School and Greenville Middle School.
