Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy - California
An online Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support a school setting in Guerneville, CA. This contract role focuses on delivering teletherapy services with a unique element of supervision, providing an excellent chance to impact student outcomes through both direct therapy and mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy services to students, ensuring quality and compliance with individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs.
- Attend IEP meetings to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals in developing and reviewing IEPs.
- Provide supervision for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) during approximately two days per week.
- Document all sessions, evaluations, and supervision activities in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech in educational settings.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective IEPs.
- Strong supervisory skills to support and guide SLPA performance.
- Bilingual abilities are preferred but not mandatory.
