A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telepractice within an educational setting. This role is fully virtual, providing flexibility while delivering essential speech therapy services to students.
Responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, implementing individualized therapy plans, and documenting student progress using a comprehensive virtual platform. The platform offers a range of interactive learning materials designed to enhance student engagement, as well as seamless access to assessment tools and resources. Sessions are conducted using a provided Zoom Pro account, ensuring a professional and reliable telecommunication experience. Collaboration with clinical and technical support teams is integral to addressing any challenges related to therapy delivery and technology.
Desired qualifications and experience include:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification and licensure as required by Texas regulations
- Experience in telepractice service delivery, preferably within a school setting
- Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and virtual platforms for assessment and therapy
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual environment
- Knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies
