Grades 6 - 8 K-5 School SLP Remote | Louisiana

A contract position is available providing speech-language pathology services in a school setting located in Metairie, LA. This role supports students in grades K-8 through telespeech, delivering specialized speech therapy tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting speech-language assessments and developing treatment plans
• Providing telespeech therapy sessions for students in grades K-5 and 6-8
• Collaborating with a dedicated facilitator who assists in pulling students for therapy
• Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation consistent with school guidelines
• Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and needs

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid and current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience delivering telespeech services within school settings
• Familiarity with speech therapy techniques appropriate for elementary and middle school students
• Ability to work collaboratively with facilitators and school personnel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
