Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - AL
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a contract position serving elementary schools in Mobile, Alabama. This role is designed for professionals skilled in both traditional school-based speech therapy and telespeech services, supporting students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy for students in grades K-5.
- Deliver services across three elementary schools: Holloway Elementary, Dawes Intermediate, and Semmes Elementary.
- Utilize both in-person and telespeech modalities to meet student needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district requirements.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals.
- Ensure all licensure and credentialing documentation is current and submitted as required.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the Board of Speech Examiners is mandatory.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children.
- Competency in telespeech service delivery strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple school sites.
Location: Mobile, Alabama, serving Holloway Elementary, Dawes Intermediate, and Semmes Elementary.
Schedule: This contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek.
