Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - AL

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a contract position serving elementary schools in Mobile, Alabama. This role is designed for professionals skilled in both traditional school-based speech therapy and telespeech services, supporting students from kindergarten through fifth grade.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy for students in grades K-5.
• Deliver services across three elementary schools: Holloway Elementary, Dawes Intermediate, and Semmes Elementary.
• Utilize both in-person and telespeech modalities to meet student needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district requirements.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals.
• Ensure all licensure and credentialing documentation is current and submitted as required.

Qualifications:

• Current registration with the Board of Speech Examiners is mandatory.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children.
• Competency in telespeech service delivery strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple school sites.

Location: Mobile, Alabama, serving Holloway Elementary, Dawes Intermediate, and Semmes Elementary.

Schedule: This contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek.
