A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services for students in grades K-8, including both K-5 and 6-8 levels, within a school setting located in New Orleans, LA. This role involves delivering remote speech therapy support through telepractice platforms, ensuring compliance with individualized education program (IEP) goals and school guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telespeech therapy sessions focusing on typical speech and language services.
- Providing direct support and interventions for students with speech and language needs across grades K through 8.
- Collaborating with school personnel and educators to facilitate student participation and progress.
- Utilizing telecommunication tools effectively to engage students remotely.
- Coordinating with a dedicated facilitator responsible for pulling students for therapy sessions.
