Remote High School Speech Language Pathologist Work From Home | New York

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide telespeech and teletherapy services for middle and high school students in a remote learning setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to deliver specialized speech and language support within a school environment, focusing on remote service delivery to meet student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using teletherapy platforms
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
• Provide effective telespeech therapy sessions to middle and high school students
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech goals into the classroom
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies
• Adjust scheduling and therapy approaches based on student needs and feedback

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLP licensure or certification appropriate for school-based practice
• Experience delivering teletherapy services, particularly in educational settings
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders common to middle and high school populations
• Ability to engage students remotely and utilize virtual therapy tools effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work a part-time schedule over the academic year

Schedule and Location:

• Part-time: 3 days per week, approximately 21 hours per week
