Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Work From Home | Alabama
A remote opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services across educational and pediatric settings. This role focuses on delivering high-quality virtual speech-language pathology support tailored to students' diverse needs, facilitating communication improvements and developmental progress remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions for students in school and pediatric environments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes using digital tools.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
- Utilize technology effectively to deliver engaging and accessible teletherapy services.
Qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state license as an SLP and/or ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- At least 2 years of experience in school or pediatric speech-language pathology settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and conducting virtual sessions preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet, private workspace conducive to therapy sessions.
