Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Work From Home | North Carolina
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Pisgah Forest, NC, supporting two middle school brothers during the ESY and the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers approximately 5-10 hours per week, with some initial catch-up on service hours.
Key responsibilities include providing telespeech services tailored to the needs of two male middle school students. One student uses Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices alongside a specialized learning program, access to which will be provided. Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AAC systems are essential. Participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings is required to ensure targeted, collaborative student support.
Qualifications and experience:
- Possession of a Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Proficiency in telespeech service delivery within a school setting
- Demonstrated expertise with AAC devices and special learning programs
- Experience working with middle school-aged students, preferably those requiring specialized communication support
- Ability to engage in IEP meetings effectively and collaboratively

- Pisgah Forest, North Carolina (remote telespeech services with occasional in-person involvement as needed)
