Remote Speech Language Pathologist in MD
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to deliver specialized services within a K-12 school environment in Silver Spring, Maryland. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse speech, language, and communication challenges to enhance their academic and social development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Developing individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Providing direct therapy and consultative services to students
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary IEP teams to support student progress
Qualifications for this position:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
