Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist - New York

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide telespeech services in a school setting. This position focuses on Extended School Year (ESY) support, working with students from Kindergarten through 8th grade who present with various behavioral challenges.

Location: Sodus, NY
Schedule: 2-3 days per week
Duration: July 6th August 14th
Service Mode: Open to VOCO (Voice Output Communication Aids)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized speech-language therapy via telepractice to K-8 students with diverse communication needs.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students with behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals across academic and social settings.
• Use VOCO technology as appropriate to enhance communication outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working in school environments, especially with K-8 grade levels.
• Familiarity and comfort with telespeech service delivery.
• Ability to manage and support students exhibiting behavioral difficulties.
• Flexibility to provide services 2-3 days per week throughout the ESY session.
