Remote Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in AK
Speech Language Pathologists are needed to provide teletherapy services for Pre-K through 12th-grade students in a remote setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to deliver specialized speech and language support in a virtual school environment serving a diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver teletherapy sessions to students across various grade levels.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and clinical teams to support student communication goals.
- Manage a caseload of up to 55 students, with assignments varying based on building placement.
Qualifications:
- Current Alaska Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Alaska Educator Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Experience in telepractice (teletherapy) within a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to remote service delivery.
- Ability to effectively manage time and caseload in a virtual environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Remote (services provided virtually).
- Schedule: 37.5 paid hours per week (40 hours total including 30-minute unpaid lunch).
- Workdays: 5 days per week, 7.5 paid hours per day.
- Contract Dates: August 17, 2026 May 21, 2027.
- Caseload: Up to 55 students.
