Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - GA
This contract opportunity seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve elementary, middle, and high school students through both in-person and teletherapy services. The role focuses on supporting students with diverse speech and language needs across multiple grade levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy services for students
- Utilizing teletherapy and telespeech platforms as part of service delivery
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including other SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Developing individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Adhering to ethical standards and best practices in school-based speech therapy
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school and healthcare settings
- Skilled in teletherapy techniques and technology
- Knowledge of school-based service delivery models
- Ability to work both full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time, depending on availability
- Candidates should be able to work in or near Suwanee, GA, with consideration across surrounding areas including Decatur, Athens, Alpharetta, Norcross, Dacula, Peachtree Corners, Sugar Hill, Buford, Lilburn, Grayson, Hoschton, and Duluth
Additional Details:
- Medicaid billing is not required for this position
- Support is provided through a team of other SLPs and SLPAs at each school location
- Conveniently located approximately 20 minutes north of Atlanta and 20 minutes west of Decatur, GA
