Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - AZ
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric care, with a focus on school-based and telespeech services. This position involves working with middle school students, providing targeted 1:1 intervention to support communication development.
Location: Tucson, AZ
Assignment Duration: July 28, 2026 May 20, 2027
Schedule: 20 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 59 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to middle school students' diverse communication needs.
- Utilize telespeech methods as appropriate to enhance accessibility and effectiveness of therapy.
- Collaborate with educators and families to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in school-based pediatric speech therapy, especially at the middle school level.
- Proficiency with telespeech technology and delivering remote therapy.
- Ability to handle a caseload of 50+ students efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
