Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist | Maryland
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school-based services is sought to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Upper Marlboro, MD. This position involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy to address diverse communication challenges, fostering students' academic success and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services within the school environment
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and IEP teams to ensure cohesive support plans
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maryland
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility to obtain certification
- Experience working in school or pediatric settings is preferred, though not mandatory
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with students and multidisciplinary teams
