Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in AZ

A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide telespeech services in Valley Farms, AZ. This role involves supporting a diverse caseload in an educational setting, delivering services remotely to meet varied student needs.

The caseload consists of 55 students, including 17 students identified with Speech or Language Impairments (SLI). Student needs span from general education placements to self-contained classrooms, requiring adaptability and expertise in specialized communication interventions. A part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is assigned to the site to support clinical service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting teletherapy sessions to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
• Developing individualized treatment plans aligned with students IEP goals.
• Collaborating with teachers, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to foster student progress.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Adjusting service delivery methods to accommodate remote learning environments.

Preferred qualifications or experience:

• Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
• Experience in telespeech therapy tailored to school-aged children.
• Familiarity with a broad range of communication disorders, including working with students who have SLI.
• Ability to engage effectively with students across different educational settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with school staff and families.
