Virtual Speech Language Pathologist - IL
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in telespeech services. This role supports students in a school setting, focusing on delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy through virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Delivering therapy sessions via telespeech technology to address communication disorders.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Proven experience providing speech-language therapy in school settings.
- Proficiency in telespeech or telepractice platforms and related technology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Current licensure to practice speech-language pathology in Illinois.
