Remote Speech Language Pathologist in SC
This opportunity involves providing specialized speech-language pathology services within an elementary school setting in West Columbia, SC, from August 2026 through May 2027. The position requires delivering teletherapy and in-person support to young learners, focusing on speech and language development essential for their academic success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged children.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Providing teletherapy and direct speech-language services to students with various communication needs.
- Collaborating with educators and other professionals to support student progress and integrate services effectively.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with professional standards and district policies.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Current certification in speech-language pathology (SLP-CCC) is required.
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy methodologies and remote service delivery.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent clinical experience valued.
Work schedule details:
- Full-time engagement at 37.5 hours per week.
- Services provided five days per week.
- Assigned exclusively to one elementary school campus.
