Remote Speech Language Pathologist in SC

This opportunity involves providing specialized speech-language pathology services within an elementary school setting in West Columbia, SC, from August 2026 through May 2027. The position requires delivering teletherapy and in-person support to young learners, focusing on speech and language development essential for their academic success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged children.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Providing teletherapy and direct speech-language services to students with various communication needs.
• Collaborating with educators and other professionals to support student progress and integrate services effectively.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with professional standards and district policies.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Current certification in speech-language pathology (SLP-CCC) is required.
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school settings.
• Familiarity with teletherapy methodologies and remote service delivery.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent clinical experience valued.

Work schedule details:

• Full-time engagement at 37.5 hours per week.
• Services provided five days per week.
