Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in MS
A contract position is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists specializing in school-based services, including telespeech therapy. This opportunity is located in West Point, MS, supporting educational settings from July 27, 2026, through May 26, 2027. The role requires full-time commitment with a 40-hour workweek distributed over five days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students within the school environment, addressing a variety of communication disorders.
- Utilize telespeech techniques to provide remote assessments and therapy sessions effectively.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy services, including telespeech modalities.
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and use of technology for teletherapy.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to commit to the full contract period and required hours.
