Online Social Worker | Massachusetts

A contracted Social Worker position is available to provide telehealth services within a school setting in Medford, MA. This role focuses on supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs through remote platforms, ensuring access to essential mental health resources.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments and counseling sessions with students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of sessions, progress notes, and case documentation in compliance with relevant policies.
• Provide crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate community resources as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate student support services.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Social Worker with credentials appropriate for clinical practice and telehealth service delivery.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical environments.
• Proficient with telehealth technology and remote communication platforms.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting school-aged populations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
