An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher with experience in telehealth services, supporting students in a school setting. This contract role is based in Charlotte, NC, catering to the educational needs of students requiring special education assistance through virtual platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized special education instruction and support via telehealth to diverse student populations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure effective communication and student progress.
• Utilize technology effectively to provide engaging and accessible lessons remotely.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to student performance and compliance with educational standards.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities in a virtual environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Proven experience providing special education services, preferably with telehealth or remote instruction.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with students, families, and educational teams.
• Comfortable using digital platforms and tools designed for telehealth and remote teaching.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized while working independently.
