A full-time Intervention Specialist (Special Education Teacher) position is available for a contract role providing telehealth services. This opportunity focuses on supporting high school students within a Drop Out Recovery program.

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Caseload: High school students enrolled in a Drop Out Recovery program

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction and interventions tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) through telehealth platforms
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborating virtually with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
• Documenting observations, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with special education regulations
• Supporting student transitions and providing guidance aligned with recovery program goals

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with high school special education students, preferably within dropout recovery or alternative education settings
• Proficiency with telehealth technologies and online instructional strategies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload effectively and maintain accurate documentation
