Online Special Education Teacher in OH
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Cleveland, OH, with a hybrid work schedule combining remote and in-person days. The role involves case management responsibilities for students in K-8 schools located in Midtown, Woodland Hills, and Glenville, serving up to 100 Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) annually.
Key responsibilities include writing IEPs, facilitating IEP meetings, and managing full administrative duties related to special education cases. This position requires proficiency with the Same Goal IEP platform and a strong understanding of case management practices. The role does not involve lead teaching but focuses on supporting students with mild to moderate or moderate to intense disabilities.
Work schedule details:
- Monday and Friday work from home
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on-site
Qualifications and experience preferred:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license for Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intense disabilities
- Experience with case management in a special education setting, including IEP development and facilitation
- Familiarity with Same Goal IEP software
- Ability to manage up to 100 IEP caseload effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating with families, staff, and administrators
