Grades 9 - 12 Virtual Special Education Teacher - OH
A part-time opportunity exists for a Special Education Teacher skilled in telehealth services, working with students in grades 9 through 12. This contract role supports educational interventions remotely, enhancing learning outcomes for high school students requiring specialized instructional strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized or small group instruction through telehealth platforms to high school students with special education needs
- Collaborating with education teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional methods accordingly
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on student performance and services provided
- Complying with special education laws, regulations, and policies to ensure appropriate support
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Valid teaching certification with a focus on special education
- Experience working with high school students, particularly grades 9-12
- Strong proficiency in telehealth technology and remote instructional methods
- Ability to design and deliver differentiated interventions tailored to diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes and compliance requirements
