Virtual Special Education Teacher - KS

A virtual special education teaching opportunity is available in Kansas City, KS, with a contract running from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027. This role focuses on serving elementary-level students as a case manager within a telehealth setting.

This position requires candidates to hold valid K12 Special Education certification, with preference for those experienced in case management and special education teaching. While K12 certification offers the flexibility to work across multiple levels, this particular opening is targeted toward educators with a background in elementary education. The caseload will be approximately 70 students.

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing, reviewing, and maintaining Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs

• Conducting ongoing progress monitoring to assess student growth and inform instructional adjustments
