Special Education Teacher Work From Home - Illinois

A Special Education Teacher is needed to provide support in a self-inclusion classroom within a school setting. This full-time, onsite position involves working with approximately 10 students per class to deliver specialized educational services throughout the 26/27 school year, running from August 19th to June 4th, 2027.

Location:

• Lake Villa, IL

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support for students in a self-inclusion classroom
• Collaborate with school staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain classroom management that supports a positive and productive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school personnel

Qualifications:

• Valid LBS-1 Certification for Special Education
• Experience working in special education settings, preferably with self-inclusion models
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 10 students per class
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering student growth and individualized learning needs

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• School year calendar: August 19, 2026 June 4, 2027
