Special Education Teacher Work From Home - Ohio

A Special Education Teacher specializing in telehealth services is sought for a contract role serving a secondary school setting. This position involves delivering specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and tailored interventions in a remote learning environment.

Location: Miamisburg, OH
Type: Contract
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Note: This assignment stands alone and cannot be combined with other roles within the same organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Conducting telehealth sessions to provide specialized interventions, monitors, and assessments remotely
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to tailor educational strategies and resources
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction as necessary to support academic and social-emotional development
• Documenting interventions and maintaining communication with families, caregivers, and school personnel

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
