Virtual Special Education Teacher - IN

Special Education teaching opportunities are available for the 2026/2027 school year, offering the chance to provide telehealth and in-person services across multiple buildings. These four positions will serve students in grades K-12 within both middle and elementary school settings, with a focus on inclusive education and primarily push-in support.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students with a range of disabilities, collaborating with general education teachers, and delivering instructional services to meet diverse learner needs. The role requires flexible, compassionate service delivery either via telehealth or in the classroom.

Key qualifications and experience desired:

• Indiana Special Education license (mandatory)
• Familiarity with all disability categories and ability to manage varied caseloads
• Experience delivering push-in services in inclusive classroom environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Commitment to individualized instruction and student progress monitoring

Work hours are 37.5 hours per week, with placements at two middle schools and two elementary schools. Contract-to-hire arrangements provide an opportunity for longer-term placement based on performance and mutual fit.
