Online Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - California

An opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing specializing in telehealth services, based in Fresno, CA. This contract role supports students with hearing impairments through virtual instruction and specialized educational strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering tailored instructional sessions via telehealth platforms to students with hearing challenges
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address auditory and communication needs
• Collaborating with parents, educators, and related service providers to enhance student success
• Utilizing assistive technologies and strategies to maximize learning outcomes
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods accordingly
• Maintaining accurate records of sessions and student performance

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
• Experience in telehealth service delivery within an educational setting
