Remote Online Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - California
This contract opportunity involves providing specialized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing via telehealth in a remote setting. The role focuses on supporting a small group of middle and high school students once per week during an Extended School Year (ESY) program.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored instruction to students in grades 6 through 12, ensuring accessibility and engagement
- Conducting 30-minute sessions weekly from June 22, 2026, through July 17, 2026
- Collaborating with educational teams to support student learning and progress remotely
- Utilizing effective strategies and communication techniques specific to Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification or specialization as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience with telehealth or remote instruction
