Online Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Washington
Seeking an experienced Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized telehealth instruction within a school setting based in Seattle, WA. This contract role focuses on delivering virtual educational support to students with hearing impairments, utilizing telecommunication technology to foster an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments through telehealth platforms.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Collaborate with other educational professionals, families, and service providers to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records regarding student performance and telehealth sessions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Proven experience in delivering instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
