Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired - MD

A full-time opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized instruction through telehealth services. This role involves supporting students with visual impairments by delivering tailored, accessible educational programming that fosters independence and academic achievement.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments
• Utilizing telehealth technology to conduct direct instruction and assessments
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support
• Providing orientation and mobility training as appropriate
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting to meet compliance standards
